Move Forward is an eight week writing program designed to help you set real, achievable goals, and then develop the habits you need to make that real over the course of eight weeks. If you've been looking for structure, accountability, and someone to care about what you do before the deadline, this is the program for you.
We work together to set realistic goals (and checkpoints) for the eight weeks, and then I set up a workspace that’s totally private to you, and fully customizeable.
You can track wordcounts, time spent, sections completed - whatever works.
But I’ll see the goal and you can see the goal, and I will check in to make sure that you’re showing up and doing the work - without judgment and shame - and use the data you collect about what works to refine things as we go.
You set the schedule - there’s no M-F 9-5 “normal” here - and you can also take a week off because breaks are real! This was meant to flex with you and your work as it shifts while still providing as much structure as possible.

In addition to the tracking and measurement tools, you’ll have 24/7 access to a library of writing resources to support you in things like:
Setting goals
Managing your work sessions and daily task lists
Structuring and supporting your argument
Revising your writing
Proofreading and grammar help
Plus reflection worksheets, planning documents, and workbooks to help you monitor your progress and troubleshoot your goals!

Nope! The program is very flexible - you can track multiple goals easily. Some people track smaller parts of a bigger project, and others have projects in multiple areas of their work and life that they work on - you track the things you want to move forward!
Nope!!! I designed it to support writing, but I consider writing a holistic process that encompasses reading, note-taking, revising, and drafting. Clients are also successfully using it to support course work, side-gig work, data processing, and teaching!
Most days!!! We have three one on one sessions together, but I also check your site multiple times a week, and reach out when I don’t hear from you (at an interval and in a way that you consent to!). You also have ways in the system to signal me that you need extra support, or to reach out directly with questions and concerns.
Move Forward has open enrollment - you sign up, and you very quickly get an email to help you customize your space and set up your first session. You set the schedule - so you can always pay at a time that works for your budget, and then choose the date you start, or get started with 24 hours if that’s what you choose!
